Delete Account Policy

1. Overview

Smart Reminder respects your right to control your personal data. This Delete Account Policy explains how users can permanently delete their account and associated data from our systems.

2. How to Delete Your Account

You can delete your account directly from within the Smart Reminder app:

  • Open the Smart Reminder app
  • Go to Profile or Settings
  • Select Delete Account
  • Confirm your choice

Once confirmed, your account deletion process will begin immediately.

3. Data That Will Be Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:

  • User profile information
  • Email address and authentication credentials
  • Habits, reminders, routines, and water tracking data
  • Points, rankings, and Hall of Fame entries
  • Subscription and usage records (except where legally required)

4. Guest Users

Guest users do not need to manually delete an account. Guest data is stored locally and/or anonymously.

  • Guest accounts inactive for more than 7 days are automatically deleted
  • Uninstalling the app removes guest data from the device

5. Data Retention

Most data is deleted immediately after account deletion. Some minimal records may be retained temporarily if required by legal, tax, or fraud-prevention obligations.

6. Re-Registration

After deleting your account, you may create a new account at any time. Previously deleted data cannot be recovered.
